Kris Groth

altKris Groth, Body Whispers Therapy, is a 1993 graduate of the University of Minnesota. She is an occupational therapist by license, but considers herself a craniosacral energy healer, since her specialty and passion is in craniosacral therapy and holistic energy healing.  She also has training in myofascial release, lymph drainage, somatoemotional release, heart-centered therapy, ambient healing light, and more, all tools that she uses for whatever is needed.

Kris uses her years of experience, training, and intuition to help patients transform their lives, and let go of old patterns to bring true healing and wellness to all areas of life.  Listening to what the body needs to promote healing and restore balance and function to the body, heart, mind and soul. This holistic approach is a great complement to other modalities such as chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture.

A typical session with Kris is one hour long, and fully clothed.  Her approach is very gentle, taking you to a deep state of relaxation where even the deepest issues can melt away gently and easily, without guarding or resisting.  She believes there is no real separation of the body, emotions, mind and spirit.  They all effect each other, and can get in the way of healing if not all addressed.  For example, emotional trauma that is stuck, can cause physical pain and disease.  Her intention is to help bring lasting healing, balance and harmony to all levels, without re-traumatizing. She treats patients of all ages, from birth to adults and seniors, with any type of injury, illness, or issue.

Kris is committed to providing healing in many different ways, beyond the treatment room.  She makes custom healing jewelry using special crystals and minerals to support ones healing intentions.  She is involved in a sound healing choir that performs throughout the metro area.  Her other interests include yoga, meditation, drumming, dancing, skiing, going for walks in nature, and spending time with her family.
