Our Special Approach
Meet Dr. Michele Renee
Dr. Michele Renee
Dr. Michele Renee is a family doctor who treats the whole person and the whole family, from the first day of life to the last. She is a healer first and foremost, offering gentle chiropractic adjustments, the experienced hands of a long-time massage therapist and body worker, the Traditional Chinese Medicine perspective, and a deep pool of knowledge about nutrition and healing from the inside out.
Dr. Renee brings a clarity to healing in her understanding that no two people are alike, and no two approaches to healing should be alike either. She provides a safe place for exploring the possibilities for healing, drawing from her unique collection of skills to find the individualized approach to care that’s just right for you.
A massage therapist since 1998, Dr. Renee graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2008, and is now serving as an Associate Professor at NWHSU in the School of Massage Therapy. She is also licensed to perform acupuncture as a means to aid in the ease and effectiveness of the chiropractic adjustment.
Dr. Renee is always happy to provide referrals to other trusted professionals, such as medical doctors, physical therapists, and other excellent providers in order to provide the best health care team possible. The whole is most certainly greater than the sum of its parts! Come on in today for a consultation to learn what your customized care can look like.

Our Name
“just right care!”
But there’s really more to it than that. Throughout many cultures in the world, the Bear signifies wisdom and healing. Did you know that after the Bear hibernates for the winter, she comes out in the spring and finds herbs she needs for healing? A number of herbs are actually named for their association to the bear, including bear root, bearberry, bear's paw, bear tongue, and bear clover. The Bear embodies many of the fundamental principles we hope to share with our practice members at 3 Bears Chiropractic & Wellness, including:
- Renewal, rebirth, and the regaining of health
- Childbearing, mothering, and devotion
- Strength, protection, and bravery
- Patience to allow ideas to hibernate until a better time presents itself
- Connection to the earth and the flow of life
- Peaceful tranquility, harmony, and balance
- Nurturing and protection of ideals, and the determination to see things through to bring results
