Our Special Approach
Movement is life. In the chiropractic tradition, we restore motion in the joints where it has been lost or restricted. This gives you increased range of motion, decreased pain, and improved function in your muscles and organs. We do this through chiropractic adjustments, massage therapy, and CranialSacral therapy.
We believe in treating all areas of your health and wellness. Learn more about our Functional Medicine approach and options on our FAQ page.
Our Doctors
Our doctors are trained to provide a range of different approaches, from very gentle and suitable for children to more dynamic adjustments. We find just the right combination of techniques to help you live your life more fully. Approaches we offer include diversified, drop-piece, activator, and CranioSacral. Your doctor will tell you about these options at your first visit or two.
Dr. Michele ReneeMeet Dr. Michele Renee
Dr. Michele Renee’s connection to natural health care began when she was in her early twenties. She came to the realization that she had been consulting the wrong kind of doctor for her severe, daily headaches and numerous other chronic health concerns. Drugs were the only tool available to her medical doctor, despite her best intentions. Medication could dull the pain, but the next morning always began with a new veil of pain.
Then Dr. Renee discovered that by getting regular chiropractic and massage care, not only did her headaches improve significantly, but many other things improved in her health as well, from asthma to kidney infections and eczema. She found a place to learn about how to improve other factors in her diet and lifestyle to make the adjustments even more beneficial.
Dr. Michele Renee became a massage therapist in 1998. After many years of helping people manage their stress and pain through massage therapy, she decided to embark on the inspired next step: becoming a chiropractor. She was excited not only to learn to adjust the spine and ease nervous system, but also to teach people about whole foods and general nutrition, children’s health, women’s health, vaccinations, hormone management, pain management, and mind-body connection.
Dr. Renee graduated from Northwestern Health Sciences University in Bloomington, MN with her Doctor of Chiropractic and Bachelor of Science in Human Biology. She is passionate about learning and teaching, has taken specialized classes in Pediatrics and Nutrition and is currently studying acupuncture. In addition to private practice, Dr. Renee is a full-time faculty member at Northwestern Health Sciences University where she is a professor. She consults with patients of all ages about nearly every health concern, and then provides a range of options for treatment such as chiropractic, massage, craniosacral, and nutrition.
Dr. Renee also is happy to provide referrals to other trusted professionals, such as medical doctors, acupuncturists, and other excellent providers in order to provide the best health care team possible. The whole is most certainly greater than the sum of its parts! Come on in today for a consultation to learn what your customized care can look like.

Our Name
While choosing our name, we wanted something that said we treat all ages and stages of people by finding the correct approaches and techniques for each individual’s healing path. Of course, the children’s story Goldilocks and the Three Bears is one aspect of that, as illustrated by our tagline
“just right care!”
“just right care!”
But there’s really more to it than that. Throughout many cultures in the world, the Bear signifies wisdom and healing. Did you know that after the Bear hibernates for the winter, she comes out in the spring and finds herbs she needs for healing? A number of herbs are actually named for their association to the bear, including bear root, bearberry, bear's paw, bear tongue, and bear clover. The Bear embodies many of the fundamental principles we hope to share with our practice members at 3 Bears Chiropractic & Wellness, including:
- Renewal, rebirth, and the regaining of health
- Childbearing, mothering, and devotion
- Strength, protection, and bravery
- Patience to allow ideas to hibernate until a better time presents itself
- Connection to the earth and the flow of life
- Peaceful tranquility, harmony, and balance
- Nurturing and protection of ideals, and the determination to see things through to bring results
